My name is JunLin. Born with a big head.
I've always loved the outdoors—running, cycling, hiking, and the beach. Wherever there's sunlight, that's where I want to be.
But one problem followed me my entire life: I could never find a pair of sunglasses that actually fit.
Premium brands, trendy labels, so-called "one-size-fits-all"—the story was always the same. Temples squeezing my head. Nose pads digging in. Red marks on my face every time I took them off.
For years, I thought something was wrong with me.
Then one day, walking out of yet another store empty-handed, it hit me: The eyewear world was never designed for people like me.
The year I graduated college, I made a decision: If no one's going to make sunglasses for big heads, I'll do it myself.
In 2016, MAXJULI was born.

The Meaning Behind the Name
MAX — More than just "bigger." It means more room, more comfort, more freedom. Because big was never the problem. Big is power.
JULI — From my name, Jun Lin. It's also "July" in German—the month when the sun shines brightest and sunglasses matter most.

Who Do We Build For?
For the big-head crew. The wide-face gang. The people whose hats are always XL or XXL.
For everyone who's been ignored by "standard" sizing.
It was never that your head was too big. The world was just too small.
So we're here to make it a little bigger.
